A Boston Fav Hits Primetime

Our good friend Camilla Gallacher makes beautiful necklaces. You've seen her stuff in editorials, on runways and read about her style in local magazines. Perhaps you've been to her South End studio during Open Studios. Maybe you even own a piece from Looc or Stil. She's recently expanded her business, branching out to major NYC stores like Henri Bendel and Bergdorf Goodman while rebranding her company with a name change. What was known as Millie & Me is now Camillajames. 

Even more exciting is seeing Camillajames' Cascade necklace (one of her most popular pieces) on Gossip Girl last night, worn by newbie Kira Abernathy (played by Sarah Steele). OK, I'll admit, I had to look up the character's name, but with the powerhouse fashion force that GG has become, along with all the excellent press camillajames has been getting lately (style mentions in People and Lucky to mention a few), it'll only be a short time until we're knocking down Target's doors for a collaboration piece from Camilla.
