To celebrate our love of accessories and fine cocktails, we've teamed up with local domestic entertaining goddess and event designer Lo McShay on our newest feature, Party Time! Influenced a bit by the idea of Man Repeller's trademark-pending "arm party" (although this particular time we kept the "party" element minimal) and Lo's ability to make any ocassion worth celebrating with style, Party Time! pairs statement accessories with delicious easy-to-make cocktails.

Unearthen's crystal creations have always been a beautiful marriage of delicate and bold. The line's original necklaces paired rough crystals with bullet casings. As Unearthen evolves, more styles have been added, including this powerful quartz pyramid watch. Don't be fooled, the pyramid is not a cover or decorative addition to the watch, it is completely attached and magnifies the watch's face. To celebrate the art of time, Lo suggests creating a Pear Royale, a simple twist on the classic Kir Royale. It's super simple to make and a different way to sweeten up your bubbles.

Peach Royale:

1 tablespoon of Creme de Cassis

1 tablespoon of pear nectar (Lo suggests checking out the International section of your grocer if you have a hard time finding pear nectar - Goya is her recommended brand of choice)

Fill with your favorite bubbles - champagne, proseco, cava, and sparkling white wine all work

Spotlight Intro: Peep Show

It's no secret that we are huge fans of keeping it weird. It's actaully our unofficial motto for life. After flipping through an endless amount of lingerie editorials that are the standard for this time of year, we got a little delirious. This fashion delirium seeped its way in to a dinner date with NEastStyle's Christine Mitchell. If you didn't already know, on top of being a talented writer with a sharp eye, Christine is an incredible illustrator (see her flex at S+NB Access and Well Spent).

Let's just say a joke about animal pin-ups that took place in a Bank of America vestibule quickly turned into a solid idea that all parties were psyched on. From some images thrown around to discovering hilarious websites in the process while scouting current lingerie looks, we were determined to make this happen. Photography can be restricting when you're aiming for weirdness and Christine's illustrations hit the nail on the head by showing cool lingerie looks in a different way while achieving the overall goal of whimsical wierdness. Add in some Sailor Jerry-inspired coloration and details from JSGD (JSGD's Martha Carl fashioned up this sassy little number) and we're ready to titilate and/or bust a gut.
