Spotlight: Playing Hookie

It's that time of year again. September. There is something in the air. A cool breeze. Yellow buses lining the street (or in Boston's case, UHaul vans blocking traffic). The touches of red and orange in the trees. It drums up feelings of going back to school. Even as grown ups, we can recall the excitement of a new wardrobe for the school year. Funny how that's still true of the fall season. But that thought of going back to school, for the more rebellious, that old twinge of "get me the hell out of here" is easily evoked. 

An excuse is made. You just can't deal today. Some may call it a mental health day. Others just call it playing hookie. Paint your nails. Listen to some music. Just stare off into space. Why not? It's your day.
