CAP IT OFF
Image SourceAround this time of year there's a palpable excitement in the air- the sun stays out all day, the trees are blooming and suddenly there are pretty people everywhere. But more importantly (to most Bostonians) opening day has come and gone and Red Sox season is now in full swing (pardon the pun, I couldn't help myself). This brings one topic to mind for me, and no it's not how I can get a hold of season tickets, it's how I should wear baseball caps.
I've been thinking about them for some time now, but I just haven't been able to pinpoint what I am looking for. I'm sure most guys (and some gals) are getting ready to bring out those tethered, old, lucky caps, where as others plop the so-new-the-stickers-still-on limited edition ones on their heads, while the rest grab their ever-popular ironic cap. Odds are I will be in the latter section of hat toting dudes - mostly because I already have lucky socks and nothing stays new for long in my world.
It's a smart accessory, really. Not only do they give off the always desirable cool factor but they're rather useful for protecting your head from what will soon become the harsh Boston sun. And as I've mentioned many times before, something needs to protect this balding head of mine.
One style hat that I'm really into is the solid black with black letters like the one pictured. The issue here is do I go with Boston? Houston (my hometown)? Or swing blindly and get anything that looks cool?
Now, I'm not going to lie, I'm not too familiar with baseball hats. My thought is that I don't spend much time around Fenway so I could go with something other than the all-powerful Boston B. But what if this is the summer I finally become a hardcore Sox fan? Hold you're laughter there ladies. Cal is all about home runs, Fenway franks and Yankee hating.
But the decision is yet to be made. What do you guys and girls think? How should I top it off?

My question back: flat-rim or curved?
hope that helps!
