CHANEL'S NEW ROUGE COCO: LIPSTICK LOVE

Chanel Rouge CocoI have to admit, I was skeptical about the buzz surrounding the launch of this new line of lipstick from Chanel:  how awesome could it really be?  With so many great high and low end lipsticks out there, what more is there really to offer?  Well, I'm here to tell you--it really is all it's cracked up to be. 

After trying on a friend's, whose makeup I was doing for an event she was attending, I thought, "wow, this is such a smooth, creamy formula."  Later on in the evening, I was pleasantly surprised when I looked in the mirror to see that it had worn off completely evenly, and left my lips with a subtle stain of color. 

While on vacation this week, I picked up a few colors: Rivoli, the gorgeous brick red that I applied on said friend; Gabrielle, the line's signature red (Cammie D wore it to the Oscars); and Lune Roussie, a stunning soft berry.  Rouge Coco comes in the original Chanel lipstick packaging and is available in 30 new shades and retails for $30 USD a tube.  I'm sure I'll be back for more.
